The video DSLR craze is taking the production world by storm. Sony is bringing out an updated camera in it's FS range soon that will shoot right up to 4K film resolutions, priced in the $10K range. The NEX-FS700 has not reached our shores yet but it willl probably be a very hot item when it does.  I like it. A lot.  Check out the review here.

My friend Eduan Kitching pointed me to this one.  And he should know a thing or two about digital film cameras. He's the dude in the surgical scrubs with the DSLR on the main page Flash intro and also the guy whom I call when the camerawork becomes seriously complex. He's currently also saving up for a RED so help the man out and hire him if you shoot feature films and television series please :)
