When you get us to do a project, you’re guaranteed of two things - the final product will be handmade from the ground up and absolutely unique.

This is especially true for an interactive project just completed for the International Office of NWU’s Vaal Triangle Campus. Every year NWU Vaal receives a large number of students from all across the world. A need developed...

Be the master of your own destiny (warning: opinion piece to follow)

This week two years ago I walked into my boss’s office, dropped my resignation on her desk and in doing so set in motion a series of life-changing events. Apparently I was later accused of having thrown down said resignation on said desk. In hindsight I should perhaps have done that because then the first part of this story would have made for much more dramatic reading.

Above: The project's prototype interactive UI. Users will be able to choose between Afrikaans, English and Setswana with ample provision for hard of hearing and deaf users in the form of Sign Language interpreting and subtitling of all video content. Sony's little 4K monster

Posted by Corne Scheepers on Tuesday, April 3, 2012,

The video DSLR craze is taking the production world by storm. Sony is bringing out an updated camera in it's FS range soon that will shoot right up to 4K film resolutions, priced in the $10K range. The NEX-FS700 has not reached our shores yet but it willl probably be a very hot item when it does.  I like it. A lot.  Check out the review here.

My friend Eduan Kitching pointed me to this one.  And he should know a thing or two about digital film cameras. He's the dude in the surgical scrubs with...

Match what?

Posted by Corne Scheepers on Monday, April 2, 2012,

Ever wondered where I got the name from? Yes, we're named after a button. But a useful one :)

Happy birthday to us. This day one year ago Match Frame Media opened for business.
